Valentis welcomes Kenneth Craft as its Lead Instructor to the Valentis High Risk Protective Services team.
Craft is a 24 year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is the Combat Arms Manager for the 911 Airlift Wing located in Pittsburgh, Pa. His responsibilities consist of training over 1400 Air Force personnel annually on multiple weapons systems. He is also the lead Active Shooter Response Instructor for the 911AW.
Craft’s primary responsibility will be overseeing all instruction related to the Valentis High Risk Protective Services focusing on core development to enhance its operational platform.
The Valentis High-Risk Protective Team are three interlocked groups serving different functions:
- Special Response Team (SRT): focuses on VIP/Close Personal Protection, high value asset protection, and recovery missions.
- Protective Force Team: provides protective measures at Critical Infrastructure and other assets for the United States Government and commercial clients.
- Canine Services: Include explosive detection, patrol, search, and rescue.
Craft bring’s a unique combination of technical and operational skills to Valentis along with his strong work ethic and dedication to public service. Additionally, his instructor certification consist of the following: Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission (MPOTEC) Firearms Instructor, Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Levels 1, 2 and 3, Ballistic Shield Instructor, Force on Force Instructor, Breeching Instructor and NRA Law Enforcement Instructor for Pistol/Shotgun/Patrol Rifle/Tactical Weapons.
